2015-04-10 n.100 (830) – Iziam – For my one hundredth picture this year I decided to revive this old character. He ran away from his terrible noble family (his sister did the same few years ago). Unfortunately he was caught by dark elven slavers and spent few months in an underground city as a pet slave. He later managed to escape to the surface and got caught again in a forest and decided rather to attack his chasers and die than to be dragged back. He didn’t stand a chance againsted trained hunters, and was mortally wounded. Fortunatelly for him (at least compared to his situation at the moment) the forest where he was dying was a living one. It claimed his is body and blood in exchange for his life as its servant.  Iziam agreed. The forest killed his attackers and took the boy to its depths. Since that time Iziam is living in the forest like a savage and tiny red and blue flowers grows from his blood.

2015-04-09 n.99 (829) – Shadow Dancer – This unfortunate lady was killed by her brother, who fell in love with her and forced her to make love with him. Her brother was a megalomaniac necromant, so he turned her dead body into a war golem who copies behaviour and personality of the master. Yup, they are on a high position of an emperial black list.

Weekly news in almost a week, what a surprise.

I am on the mend. Last two months were pretty terrible both work and personal stuff. Finally today I finished the project which was killing me and now I should have more free time.

There is my to-do-list:

  • 1) relax
  • 2) catch up with my school
  • 3) interact with people (and answer all the emails Q__Q)
  • 4) draw more comic pages

Sounds promising, right?

I hope that no new disaster comes into my way.

2015-03-14 n.73 (803) – A Hero – I was thinking why I didn’t have much STRONG female heroes. Well that may be because I don’t want to create a Mary Sue. So I made one. She’s strong, she’s allways good looking and she kicks asses. Still have no idea about her name and character, but whatever, she’s beautiful.

2015-02-27 n.58 (788) – Thelamyr – The advisor of young master Emhonlor. Thelamyr is a very practical man, absolutely not talented for magic, which is unusual for fire elves. Some people (and especially young master’s fox demon) may see him as a threat for the master. Well, that means (in case of the demon) that Thelamyr is missing a lot of underwear.

The creepy figure, behind him is his captain of the palace guards and an advisor (definitely not a vampire, how could you even think about that) Crispin. No, no vampires here. What a nonsense.

2015-02-23 n.54 (784) – Ervian – There is a tragic tale behind this one.

Ervian is an elven soldier held in Empire´s prison. Being kept there for decades, he later fell in love with the captain of his troop. Mostly because of shared misery and the will to survive they became lovers. The captain was executed later.

Ervian keeps himself alive with the aim to get out one day and to look after captain´s wife and son. He is looking at a medailon with their portraits.

Well, Kathea asked “How did he end up in prison?”, so here is the rest of his story for all of you too:

Well… That’s another tragic story. (I am full of tragic stories these days.)
He was sent with his troop to fight Empire´s soldiers, it seemed strange – the empire´s army wasn´t that huge and it wasn´t a good time for war. (The elves had to defend their borders anyways.) When the battle started, they realised that “the army” were mostly underfed young men and boys. The Empire was struggeling with a famine and this was kind of a way to get rid of the starving poor.
The elves refused to fight ill kids and they gave up. Their captain supposed that they would be returned to their homeland for a huge amount of ransom money (or at least for food supplies). That was the deal with the empire´s officers.
Unfortunately the elves were taken to captivity and no message ever came back to their queen. They ended up in a prison, tortured, interrogated and slowly killed one by one by experiments of the inquisition. Their families have no idea that some of them are still alive.

I am sorry… But there will be a lot of pictures.

 

The main question is: Where is the damn comic page? It has been a month since I published the last one.

Well… I finished half of it, it is a really long one. But then the exam period at my school happened and it didn’t go as smooth as I wished for. What I learned this semester is, that no matter how unimportant the class may be, if the teacher wishes, she can make the hell out of your life. (Come on, just 1 credit, we usually get 3-4 credits for passing a class.) But that’s what happened. I made it, but most of my classmates are still struggeling with it. Unfortunatelly my energy for interacting with people and creating has been drained and I´ve been having troubles with drawing recently. (And avoiding social contact, sorry, I will be available again, when I get my energy back.)

And what is bad – the next semester is starting this week. But I will try to finish the comic page as soon as I can.

Well the style change turned out to be pretty good. I haven’t drawn with a pencil for a while, so I really enjoy it.
